When you search for a keyword, app idea, category, or market, your search query may be sent to our backend server to retrieve and process public App Store data.

Saved Projects and Notes

When you use AI-powered features such as Review Mining or GPT Opportunity Reports, relevant public app metadata, sampled public reviews, and app research context may be sent to our backend and to an AI service provider to generate the requested analysis.

Purchase Information

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through Apple In-App Purchase. We do not receive or store your full payment information, credit card number, or Apple ID password.

Technical Data

We may process limited technical information necessary to operate the service, such as request timestamps, server logs, error logs, and basic diagnostic information.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

MarketScout does not intentionally collect:

- Your name

- Your email address, unless you contact support

- Your contacts

- Your photos

- Your precise location

- Your camera or microphone data

- Health data

- Financial account data

- Government identifiers

- User-generated public content

- Account passwords

MarketScout does not require login or account registration.

Flask Backend

Used to process requests, calculate opportunity signals, fetch public metadata, and connect to AI services.

Apple In-App Purchase / StoreKit / PurchaseKit

Used to manage subscriptions and purchase verification.

These services may process information according to their own privacy policies.

6. AI Processing

When you use AI features, MarketScout may send public app metadata, sampled reviews, and your selected app research context to an AI service provider. AI-generated output may be inaccurate or incomplete and should be used as a research aid only.

We instruct AI models to use only the provided data and not invent unsupported facts, but we cannot guarantee that AI output will always be perfect.

7. Local Storage

MarketScout may store the following information locally on your device:

- Saved projects

- Saved apps

- Notes

- Cached search results

- Cached Review Mining results

- Cached Opportunity Reports

- Usage limits for the Free plan

If you delete the app, locally stored data may be deleted.

8. Subscriptions and Purchases

MarketScout offers auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple processes payments and manages billing. We do not store your payment card information.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

9. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share limited data with service providers only as necessary to operate the app, including backend hosting, AI processing, public metadata retrieval, and purchase verification.

10. Children’s Privacy

MarketScout is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by the app. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

12. International Use

MarketScout may be used in multiple regions. App Store search results and reviews may vary by selected country. Backend and AI processing may occur through service providers located in different jurisdictions.

- Delete the app to remove local data from your device
