The marketing section at Stockholm Business School organizes research seminars regularly, usually on Tuesdays at 12-13. Some of these seminars are also open to the general public.

Seminar types:

  1. Green Seminars deal with “early” thoughts and ideas and have the character of creative and encouraging brainstorming, aiming to develop and expand ideas.

  2. Blue Seminars focus on preliminary versions of conference papers, journal articles, book chapters, etc. These manuscripts should be relatively complete in the sense that most parts are included but they do not have to (and should not) be “finished”.

  3. Black Seminars focus on almost finished versions of conference papers, journal articles, book chapters, etc. This form of seminar aims to identify weaknesses and inconsistencies in the argumentation and to suggest concrete improvements in the manuscript before (re)submission.

  4. Guest Seminars are organized with external researchers in our field so that we can take part in and discuss their work, to get new ideas, and to develop contacts with the wider community. The format, time, and length of these seminars can vary significantly.
