Perhaps you're wondering why your Google ads do not work as you expected. As a digital marketer, I have seen this problem among many business owners. So here are sure steps to improve your website conversion.
1. Carousel. Holland researchers found that 80% of visitors never really go past the first slide on your website. Thousands of websites were examined for this study, which looked at how visitors interacted with these websites. If your website visitors aren't interested in your other slides, this means that if you're creating a website with three, four, or five pictures and texts, then you are basically serving hardly any audience. Having one single image on your homepage slider or carousel is one of the ways that you can improve it. Just pick one single powerful image that conveys what you offer.
2. Next, your website's title needs to be improved. Title here refers to the words above the homepage picture on the slide. It's too common to have a company or website title that is descriptive of the product or service. For example, affordable product or services. You use titles that describe the products and services you provide, yet they should be descriptive of the feeling you want to convey? Consider the feeling you want people to have when they purchase the service or product. You should change your title to something that makes your potential customer want to have the product.
Your conversion rate will increase dramatically with that simple method. For the title, one thing you want to make sure is that it has the word you or your. This means it describes what the person is getting if either of these are present. People always have a question in the back of their minds when visiting your website: "How is this going to make my life better?" Whatever situation or position they may be in, how will this increase the chances of success? From a marketing standpoint, you need to understand that people aren't interested in what you're selling directly, they are interested in what they can achieve by using your product or service. In what sense is this beneficial to them?
3. Improve your call to action in order to improve conversions. There are three basic types of CTAs, learn more, get started, and contact us. People are usually not interested in learning more or contacting you. They simply want you to make it easy for them, they don’t want to get started. So for the vast majority of our CTS lacks clarity, and they lacked the direct approach that they need to have.
So for example, as the affordable products or services website, that has a button that says one more, instead of learn more. Consider a CTA that is more direct and tells people what they need to do. You will surely see an improvement in your conversion rate. This is not to say that they learn more, and contact us and get started. All of these calls to action are wrong, they're not all wrong. There's nothing wrong with having a button for learning more, but that shouldn't be your main call to action. There may be interested in this, but you need to make sure that you have a very powerful, direct call to action.
4. Your landing page should include testimonials. Sometimes, when I visit websites, I find that there are either not enough testimonials or there are too many. A testimonial is a testimony, but it's not objective by nature, because nobody in their right mind will put a bad testimony on their site. You're only going to get great testimonials from people who are pleased with your products or services. Testimonials and reviews can be confused sometimes, but they are completely two different things.
A testimonial is used to convince customers that it is safe to use your service or buy your product. So, if you're searching on a website and you're interested in a product or a survey, you're going to scroll down that one point or another you'll run into testimonials. In other words, you're wondering what other consumers think about the company or product.
It is essential to know that the testimonials require a picture of the person, their name, and something that identifies them such as a company, city, title, etc. When your website visitor is able to connect with the testimonial author, they can relate to the purpose of the testimonial.
It is important to put your testimonials into the context of the product or service you are selling. When you offer a couple of services, for example, web design and video marketing. The testimonials on the web design page should come from people who have used your web design services. The weight of a testimonial is much greater. Put them somewhere in the middle of the page, not at the bottom, not at the top, but kind of in the middle.
5. Increase your website's conversion rates by adding videos to every page. According to a recent study, a video on a page will increase conversions by 80%. You should include a video on each page of your website in order for the visitor to actually watch the video. There are two things this video will accomplish.
The first thing it does is establish a relationship with that person, and the trust will follow. In terms of SEO, you will find that it makes the visitor stay on your page a little longer, and they will be on your page for between 45 and 60 additional seconds. More time is spent on your website because of the video than they would've spent otherwise.
During the process of ranking a website, Google looks at several signals, including the amount of time people spend on the web page? Assuming everything is equal, your page with a video will have an advantage over your competition's page without a video. So make sure all of your web pages have videos, and you will definitely see improved conversions.
