I will be on the 2025-2026 job market.Â
Hi! My name is Mark Drozd, a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Johns Hopkins University. Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, I received a B.S. in Mathematics (Financial Track) and a B.S. in Economics (with Honors) from The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!) in 2020.
In my Job Market Paper, I estimate a dynamic discrete choice model of occupation and education decisions that incorporates mental health dynamics. The results demonstrate that considering educational attainment is essential when assessing the effects of mental health policies.
