Missile Museum Curator and Artifact Restoration
1995 to 1999, Mark Brush served as curator for the Point Mugu Missile and Target artifact collection at NAWS Point Mugu, California. A junior Sailor at the time, the base trusted him with 50 years of missile and target history dating back to 1946. He restored a total of 82 missiles and targets during his tenure and amassed a collection of 300 more items from Test and Evaluation divisions on base. This collection is still currently on display at Point Mugu.

Centennial of Naval Aviation HH-60H
In 2010, Mark designed this one-of-a-kind paint scheme during Centennial of Naval Aviation celebrations to honor the Seawolves of Helicopter Attack (Light) Squadron THREE. The scheme was intended to replicate that of the UH-1B 'Huey' attack helicopters that HA(L)-3 operated in Vietnam.
Mark made a 1:72 scale model of the intended scheme before applying it to an actual aircraft.

HH-60H Bureau Number 163787 Preservation
Retired in 2016, Mark coordinated with NAVAIR to preserve BuNo 163787 for museum preservation at the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida. This HH-60H accumulated just over 7,000 flight hours, including 1018 hours of combat in Iraq between 2003 and 2009. Of the 42 "Hotels" built, this will be the only survivor. All others were purchased by the US Coast Guard for conversion to MH-60T.
