Our research explores various semiconductor nanostructures for Opto-electronic devices. Light-matter interaction in atomically thin low-dimensional 2D-layered semiconductors such as MoS2, WS2, MoSe2 and WSe2 is examined in various devices including Photovoltaics and Photodetectors.

Graphene and Graphene oxide based applications in energy conversion devices are our interest to establish flexible smart-nano devices.

CdTe and CdS heterojunction solar cells, TiO2, SnO2 and ZnO based hybrid solar cells, Graphene based Schottky junctions with thin film semiconductors for energy device applications are of our interests.

Our facilities include chemical vapor deposition, electron-beam evaporation, RF/DC sputtering, close space sublimation, plasma processer, spray pyrolysis and electrophoretic coating units.
