Teaching
Currently teaching Financial Econometrics and Advanced Econometrics at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, in the Master of Advance Research CEFIN program. Link
My teaching experience includes lecturing and tutoring in a number of undergraduate and graduate level (MBA and Honours) courses in Australia, Spain, Canada and Romania, as well as supervising one student's PhD thesis in Financial Econometrics field. In 2017 I graduated the Tutor Training Program at the University of New South Wales (Australia) for which I was granted the Certificate in Tutoring.
I am currently the lecturer and unit convenor of the ‘Financial Econometrics’ and ‘Advanced Econometrics’ master level courses, teaching both the course and the tutorials during the 2019-2020 academic year. The courses are part of the Master of Advanced Research in Finance CEFIN at the Faculty of Finance and Banking, Bucharest University of Economic Studies. In Semester 1 2019 I taught the tutorials for ‘Quantitative Methods in Economics, Business and Finance’ (1st year, in this unit I was also TA), ‘Financial Econometrics’ and ‘Economic and Business Forecasting’ (both 3rd year) units, in the Department of Economics of Macquarie Business School, Australia, a challenging teaching experience given the diversity of students’ quantitative backgrounds. I taught 6 hours per week, to which it adds exam, quiz test and assignment grading, TA work, student consulting, preparing exams and tests.
