Teen Tech Week

Three-day-long STEAM event promoting robotics, coding and engineering at Marist. Partnered with Blue Island Public Library, Oak Lawn Public Library and Alsip/Mt. Greenwood Public Library. Over 90 students attended.

Can You Escape?

Hosted as launch party for RAILS grant win providing numerous BreakoutEDU kits and supplies. Partnered with Blue Island Public Library and Evergreen Park Public Library. Over 65 teams attended.

Book Drives

ARC hosted school wide two annual book drives planned and organized by English 2 students and teachers. Librarian and students sorted thousands of donations and prepared the "store" for local elementary school teachers to shop for free. Provided books for over 60 schools and children's charities.

Book Sales

Marist ARC hosts several annual book sales of new and very gently used material to fund the student school book club field trips and author visits. An average of $300 is raised each year to provide book club kids with engaging literary experiences. Books sales are open to all faculty, staff, students, families and local community members.

*Additional regular events include Board Meetings, EVOLVE, chess club, 1 Book 1 Marist, SADD, breakfasts with parents, holiday events, chess tournaments, POMS practices, ACT testing, National Spanish and French exams, Guidance and Counseling events, AP testing, and tutoring.
