Being a part of the Burbank Student Mental Health Board for all four years, I had numerous roles, eventually working my way up to Executive Cabinet my sophomore year, running for Co-President, and earning the position my senior year. The Burbank SMHB is completely student-run, and serves throughout the Burbank Unified School District to advocate for student mental health awareness and provide services. Some of my duties included planning and coordinating events, student outreach, and speaking with school district board members to help cater to the needs of Burbank students.
I have participated in Track & Field since my freshman year, focusing on Pole Vault as my main event. Additionally I have participated in multiple sprinting events, including the 200m dash and the 4x4 relay, with top three placements in both. Being on Frosh for my freshman and sophomore year, I build teamwork and leadership skills that helped me make the Varsity team my junior year. In the 2025 Spring season, I focused soley on Pole Vaulting, practicing outside of school hours with the Burbank High Pole Vault team with their specialist coach, Coach Newton.
I have participated in JSA for all four years of high school, attending meetings and debating various topics that cover politics, current affairs, and pop culture.
