Welcome to your cottage Retreat in the Heart of Missoula with walk-able access to Downtown, the surrounding hills and nearby riverfront, as well as day trip possibilities in all directions. This corner location has plenty of character, inside and out. You'll privately occupy the main floor while you are here. The 1930s stucco home is a lovingly restored, carefully created environment that is truly centrally located. While it is generally fairly quiet, this IS downtown, AND our intent is to offer you a unique spot in this special place to refresh, rejuvenate, and go from there.

You will find an unusual assortment of antique furnishings from around the world, and an amazing meditation room to expand your inside awareness, or simply to enjoy a cup of tea. This could be just the place to stay for awhile - and edit your book, be inspired... prepare for your western US tour, or whatever is on your horizon.

There is a separate comfortable queen bedroom, spacious bathroom with stall shower, and a living room with twin Chinese lounge beds that have 5" high density foam cushions, dining table and chairs, upholstered rocking chair with ottoman, as well as a large desk, and various storage areas throughout for you to use. Internet and 27" TV (with Netflix only) are available to stay connected that way.

HOWEVER, the kitchenette facilities are very limited with bar sink, refrigerator, but no stove or freezer. If you need full kitchen, it's best to look elsewhere......OR plan to make this a retreat from the kitchen too.

Only steps away, there are many surprisingly diverse dining and entertainment options, coffee shops, along with trails, and other local gems. The Missoula Children's Theater is across the street. Also within walking distance, is the University of Montana and St. Patrick Hospital. Highway access and airport are not far. If you have a vehicle, please let us know. On-site parking at the side street driveway is available for you.

Guests have private access - and use of their entire main floor space via ramp or steps, seen in the exterior photo. The door has keypad code access that is changed after each guest, with an additional privacy lock once you are in for the evening.

Check-in is flexible after cleaning time, just let us know your plans and preferences, as this also affects set up for your stay and cleaning after you check-out. Whether you are visiting for the first time, or a regular to Missoula, please feel free to call on us and we'll do our best to answer your questions and concerns.

In addition to the world of Missoula and the region outside our door, come on in to the world of Mariposa - another opportunity for transformation and adventure immersion.
