About me
I am a postdoctoral fellow at SINTEF Ocean, working on resilient autonomy for underwater robots operating in challenging dynamic environments, in collaboration with Dr. Kostas Alexis and Dr. Eleni Kelasidi.
In 2022, I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering at the University of South Carolina, under the supervision of Dr. Ioannis Rekleitis and Dr. Jason O'Kane, after I defended my dissertation titled ''On Providing Efficient Real-Time Solutions to Motion Planning Problems of High Complexity''.
My goal is to provide effective algorithmic solutions to equip complex robotic systems to operate autonomously in real and challenging environments.
My main interests include:
Motion Planning,
Computer Vision & SLAM,
3-D Navigation & Active Perception,
Underwater & Field Robotics, and
Hyper-Redundant Systems.
I received my B.Sc. in 2015 from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, National Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece.
