2025 Season Recap (3-7)
The 2025 Marion Harding Presidents battled through a challenging schedule and continued to move the program forward, finishing the season with a 3–7 record and our highest state ranking in nearly a decade.
The Presidents opened the year with an exciting 21–14 win over Mount Vernon, setting a competitive tone early. Despite tough losses to Ashland and Lima Senior, the team continued to fight each week, showing resilience and growth through every challenge. Midseason brought hard-fought battles against Highland and Clear Fork before the Presidents responded with a statement win over rival River Valley (32–20). The team also captured a decisive 48–28 victory over rival Pleasant. The team closed the year with a strong effort against Galion, coming up just short in a 28–20 contest, and lost to conference champion Shelby in Week 10.
Beyond the scoreboard, the 2025 season marked significant progress for Marion Harding Football. The Presidents began the year ranked #387 in Ohio and finished at #266 out of more than 700 schools — the program’s best end-of-season ranking since 2016 and second-best since state rankings began in 2008.
This senior class has played a pivotal role in that growth. When they finished off their freshman year, Harding was ranked #541 in the state. Through their leadership, commitment, and belief in the program, they have elevated the standard and laid a strong foundation for future success.
Their hard work and perseverance have left a lasting mark — and the future of Marion Harding Football is brighter because of them.
Our team motto - DTR: Discipline, Team, Relentless - is more than just words printed on a shirt or locker room wall. It represents the core values that define who we are and how we approach the game, every single day.
Discipline is the standard we live by.
Team is the foundation we stand on.
Relentless is the spirit that drives us forward.
These three qualities shape our culture and set the tone for our program. At the end of this season, we recognize three players who have most consistently lived out each part of this motto – those who have embodied what DTR truly means.
