As a Food Technologist I believe that sound professional relationships are built upon integrity, dignity, and mutual respect.
I recognise my responsibilities to the public, to students, colleagues, associates and to my employer to be as follows:
I shall strive for highest performance, for raising professional standards, improving services, and providing a working climate which encourages sound, considerable judgement and achieve conditions which attract to the profession only persons of which qualifications and integrity.
In the practice of my profession, I shall avoid unethical exploitation of my professional status, and refrain from untrue, misleading, exaggerated representations.
I shall be an exponent of the scientific method.
I shall give just recognition to the work of others, without distortion of discrimination.
