Guitar

Mario is a session guitarist and is pursing a masters in Studio Guitar at USC. He has been playing guitar for over 10 years and finds playing guitar as his deepest connection to music. From virtuosic playing to grooving in the pocket, Mario's has touched the lives of many people. His playing has been described as "soulful" and he draws major influences from John Mayer, Stevie Ray Vaghun, Eric Clapton, and B.B King. 

Church

Mario cantors and plays piano for 3 different churches. He also plays for special events, including quinceañeras, weddings, and funerals. He does frequent collaborations with his Trumpet Friend Peter Gutierrez (Instagram: @trumpetpeter) 

The Heatstrokes

Mario started his band 4 years ago as a 50s rock band, but then rebranded the group 2 years to focus on a variety of genres, adding 

a live horn and vocal section. 

Musical Duo

Mario and his girlfriend Julianna are a musical duo who perform at many different events, including cafes, concerts, and private events.
