Course Overview
Participants will undergo training to command a vessel operating in sheltered, protected, coastal and exposed waters as required for the Small Commercial Vessels Code for Boat Master 3, 2 or 1.
Boat Master II
Participants will undergo training to command a vessel operating in sheltered, protected, coastal and exposed waters as required for the Small Commercial Vessels Code for Boat Master 3, 2 or 1.
Duration:
10 Days full time (8 am – 4 pm)
or
5 weeks part-time (4 evenings for 3 hours) | 5 pm – 7 pm

2 forms of ID
Birth certificate
Twenty (20) years and over
Discharge book and copies of signed discharge
At least six (6) months’ experience on power-driven vessels
Completed Basic S.T.C.W. 10 Training at an approved institution
Medically fit in accordance with Shipping Regulations 1990
Basic reading, writing and comprehension skills
Have at least one (1) year experience on power driven vessels
Completed Boat Master 3 or launch Captain at an approved institution
