I am Marine Boulanger, a postdoctoral researcher at Laboratoire Magmas et Volcans in Clermont-Ferrand, France.
I am an igneous petrologist and geochemist specializing in the evolution of igneous reservoirs and melt differentiation processes. My research focuses on the role of melt migration in controlling the location, nature, and kinetics of magmatic processes, with a particular focus on crystal mushes and mineral-melt interactions. I use a combined approach based on the study of natural samples and experimental petrology to address these questions.
