It's my greatest pleasure to introduce you to the course "The Power of Feeling Included." This program has been custom-designed for our team as a whole and for each of you individually, to help us all reach our full potential by embracing the opportunities and challenges of a diverse workplace.
Your work has always been exemplary, and we deeply value and respect you as individuals. Your commitment to being thoughtful, considerate, and empathetic—not just as skilled professionals but as remarkable human beings—inspires us every day.
Please take this course not as a reprimand that you are doing something wrong but as an invitation to explore new avenues for growth, connection, and understanding.

By the end of this learning experience, you will be able to:
Define diversity as a multidimensional notion.
Distinguish between “equity” and “equality”.
Identify personal unconscious age-related and gender-career-related biases with the help of the Implicit Association Test.
Demonstrate empathy with the members of the underrepresented groups in an “empathetic concern” evoking simulation activity.
Display inclusive behaviors, which fall under four categories: “welcoming diverse perspectives,” “respectful communication,” “acknowledgment of contributions,” and “equal collaboration” in a series of interactive activities.
The course is designed to be completed in Three Steps:
Step 1: Facts & Insights
This step provides foundational knowledge on DEI, structured into five short daily sessions. Each session takes no more than 15 minutes to complete. At the end of each day, you will be invited to post your thoughts on our Collaborative Team Wall . While sharing is optional, we highly encourage it to enhance the learning experience.
Step 2: Empathy and Connection
In this step, you will experience a simulation that puts you in the shoes of a person who is frequently excluded in the workplace. This exercise is designed to foster empathy and deepen your understanding of inclusion.
Step 3: Action and Application
This final step equips you with actionable skills to foster inclusivity within your team. You will also have the opportunity to apply these skills through interactive workplace scenarios, helping you translate learning into real-world practice.
