Guitar Lessons

Acoustic and electric guitar lessons are available for the beginner to intermediate student. My biggest focus in guitar lessons is for the student to be proficient in reading standard music notation.

• Required Materials: Must have access to a fully functional acoustic or electric guitar. Students are required to bring their three ring binder, repertoire/books, medium weight guitar picks, guitar, and tuner to each lesson. If a student is playing an electric guitar, he or she must also have access to an amplifier (amp).

• Practice Expectations: A student’s progress is determined by dedicated practice, not by simply attending lessons. Ideally, students should practice at least 4-5 days a week. Specific amounts of practice time are not assigned to each student. Instead, students should practice long enough to complete their weekly assignment.
