Marina Aguiar Palma

Hi, welcome to my homepage,

I am a Research Associate at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I am also a Visiting Scholar at the Centre for the Economics of Human Development, University of Chicago. My research analyses the formation of health and socio-emotional skills, with attention to modelling the complexities of child development and issues around skill measurement. I also work at the intersection of genetics and social sciences, focusing on genetics as a tool for understanding how our environments affect us, especially in early years.
