I really am not enjoying making this game, even what little I have made. I think I have this need to be productive in order to escape my worldly issues, and that I settled on this game since I had nothing else to work on.Â
Made a small game in PICOTRON, I really like PICOTRON, but I think I should wait for it to develop more before using it to seriously develop games.
Might make a PICO-8 game like Carrot Inspector.

On the right there is a reworked mock-up in 1-bit. Here's my plan for the game I plan to make in 3 days... 3 fish; Catfish, bass, & pike. The fish will come in random sizes. Being more difficult to catch if they are of a rarer size/type. The game will consist of two screens, the fishing screen, and the fighting screen. The player will fight to maintain the fish's tightness on the line...
Work will begin tomorrow...

I do not want to start the fishing game for fear of not finishing it... One idea I have to minimize the development is to make it an idle game you keep on in the background, and then when a fish bites you battle the fish. This could be interesting. "Rainy Day Fishing"... Maybe...
I don't know. I don't want to start any project that will take longer than 3 days.
If I begin this game, I have a few things to keep it within scope... Firstly, the game will consist of two colors. Secondly it will consist of two parts. The waiting, and the fish-fighting. Thirdly I will make the game in three days. I will soon return with news...

Work has been SUPER rough. One specific coworker keeps sabotaging me, but I have no actual proof of this. It's been a few times now. And, they get angry whenever I suggest doing something in a way that they didn't come up with. Kind of scared, but it's whatever...
Had this idea for a fishing game... Here's some mock-ups. I was really excited to make the game a few days ago, but not so much now. However, I have no other ideas.
Been getting into "Rain World" lately not going to lie, have considered what a Pico-8 demake would be like. I notice whenever I get into a game I can't focus on anything else... Maybe I should focus on playing games rn, so that gamedev doesn't get messed up by it. Will update soon! Thanks for reading guys!!!

Decided to start fresh on a new project today.
In this game you run around and collect sparkles, trying to get more sparkles than your friend. It's a two-player game. The prototype on the right was made in 30 minutes. It's a functioning two-player game...
I do not really dislike anything about this game, (besides the score-ui placement). Alright, one dislike; Players cannot handle the speed at the start, so now speed increases with score. The better you do the harder the game is. This is nice, as it solves two problems.
Now I will take 30 minutes to finish the game...
Redid the score UI and here's the game now... Yep, I like this game... I like how small, yet fun it is. Might continue making games in this vein.
