Professor at ISEP, Technical University of Porto, with over 30 years of experience in higher education, with activities spanning research, teaching, academic management, and pedagogical innovation, and strong engagement with society and the business sector.
Holds a PhD in Economics and Business Sciences from the Universidad de Extremadura, as well as a Master’s degree from the same institution and a postgraduate qualification in Strategic Management from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
Has held several senior management positions in higher education, including vice-president of the Polytechnic of Porto, as well as leadership roles in strategic planning, quality management, and institutional development.
Currently teaches courses in Organizational Management to students from a range of engineering programmes.
Also involved in research projects focused on rethinking STEM education in the era of artificial intelligence .
Beyond academia, she values sports, literature, and film as sources of balance and inspiration.
