Hello, my name is Marina Seheon! I am a Coptic Orthodox Christian from Egypt, and I moved to the United States as a child. I bring a rich cultural perspective and a deep commitment to community service alongside my academic pursuits. I am currently attending medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
My educational pathway includes a strong foundation in engineering with extensive biological research, equipping me with the skills to innovate at the intersection of technology and medicine. I am proficient in a range of programming languages and laboratory techniques, and my work spans from developing electrochemical sensors to conducting DNA cloning research. My goal is to use my diverse skills to drive advancements in medical science, improving healthcare outcomes through technological innovation.
Outside of my academic and professional endeavors, I am an active leader and volunteer in various activities, from mentoring fellow students to providing essential services in my community.Â
