Marilyn's design hasn't changed much since her debut in 2021, though originally her concept was for a much different purpose. Marilyn was actually meant to be a Persona character used in a 'what-if?' scenario where the character Mari from OMORI became a Velvet Room attendant. While this concept is now nowhere to be seen in her current canon in SchoolRP, her golden eyes is the only thing that remains pure from her day-one concept. 

Furthermore, the outfit displayed in this artwork was the very first that Marilyn had ever worn in SchoolRP (albeit... different than what she wore as a skin).

This artwork is based on an actual screenshot taken in SchoolRP around the time that Marilyn had settled in with her friends, Shard Lane and Violet Inigawa were the two closest friends Marilyn had ever made, and to celebrate their friendship they decided to take a photo together. This photo can still be found in Marilyn's apartment... despite the friend group no longer being around each other.
