Deputy Head of the ifo Center for Energy, Climate, and Resources

I am an applied environmental economist at the ifo Institute in Munich. I am also part of LMU Munich's junior faculty and a CESifo network member.

Currently, I am visiting the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics).

In my research, I assess how firms, households and financial markets form expectations and react to environmental policy and environmental risks. I use observational data and surveys on firms, households and banks, as well as macro/regional, geographic, text, and patent data.
