EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
July 2021: Students are willing to learn a new language when they feel safe, know the teacher's expectations, have a variety of learning experiences, can differentiate based on their current ability, have challenging but not overwhelming work, and are provided the necessary language to express themselves as they wish. I aim to provide students the opportunity to grow their language abilities from whatever point they start at, as well as develop cultural and linguistic awareness throughout their study.
January 2021: I strive to inspire students to achieve their personal best by creating opportunities to inquire, investigate, and engage in learning. Students are active in their learning, creative, and develop cultural and linguistic awareness throughout their study.
