Research

My doctoral research has focused on using abstract harmonic analysis to study questions motivated by operator theory. Here are a couple preprints:

  • Marie-José S. Kuffner (2020). Weak factorization of the Hardy space Hp for small values of p, in the multilinear setting. J. Math. Anal. Appl. 485(1). doi:10.1016/j.jmaa.2019.123711 . arXiv preprint: arXiv:1802.01768
  • Xuan Thinh Duong, Ruming Gong, Marie-José S. Kuffner, Ji Li, Brett D. Wick, Dongyong Yang (2019). Two weight commutators on spaces of homogeneous type and applications. J. Geom. Anal., to appear. doi:10.1007/s12220-019-00308-x . arXiv preprint: arXiv:1809.07942

Currently I am working on two projects. One project involves weighted Hardy spaces on the disc, and the other project involves using harmonic analysis to develop new tools for probability theory. In addition to my work in abstract harmonic analysis, I am also very interested in applied harmonic analysis, especially its uses in building mathematical foundations for data science.
