About me

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Toronto Metropolitan University. 

Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the  King Center on Global Development at Stanford University and the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. 

I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Ottawa.

Research interests:  Applied Microeconomics, Development Economics, Family Economics, Political Economy.

I am an invited researcher at  the  Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL).
