Louisiana Board of Ethics is a course that teachers should consistently explore so they are correctly updated on the expectations and rules of a teacher. During this course, I learned the appropriate behaviors of a teacher and how to keep everyone ethically safe in the classroom. From what I have learned, I will use this course to guide how I continue with my career as a teacher, for the safety of both my students and my own.

I learned many things while going through the Digital Citizenship Training that I believe will positively impact any classroom across all grades that have access online. DigCit discussed six major topics such as media balance, security, digital footprint, communication, cyberbullying, and media literacy that I will examine with my future students.  It is of the utmost importance that future adults learn how to safely navigate online and where better to learn it than in the classroom.

Here is the certificate that I earned by passing the Google for Educators Training Level 1 exam. This program helped me learn all the shortcuts to make teacher's lives so much easier! I can't wait to use my newfound knowledge in my classrooms.

In this assignment, I have not only learned how to correctly organize a lesson plan, but I have also learned how to incorporate tech tools to further the lesson plan. I realized that it is important for the teacher to fully understand the tech tool before implementing it into the lesson plan.  I've now practiced how to use tech tools to increase student learning. I'm very excited to use the new lesson plan strategies I've learned in my future classroom. I will use this gained experience with future lesson plans that include educational technology.

This was my first ever experience creating and uploading a video onto YouTube. I very much enjoyed making it and finding fun pictures to include. 

1. During this assignment, I learned the ins and outs of the website I used to edit my video, CapCut. It was a very useful tool and, overall, a great website to use for beginning editors. It has inspired me to introduce it to my future students.

2. As I mentioned, this was my first behind-the-scenes experience with YouTube. I fully expected to be lost, but it was very easy to follow and understand. I really liked using YouTube, and I appreciate this assignment for helping me learn how to navigate the website,  

3. Throughout this assignment, I continuously used Google Drive. This experience helped me realize how convenient and helpful Google Drive really is. Having the ability to upload pictures onto your phone through your Drive and then easily transfer it to my portfolio was amazing! I can't imagine having to navigate through finding pictures and uploading them without Google Drive. I know for sure I will be using Google Drive in my future classroom.

Creating and editing a video has helped me realize the importance of having those skills. I know that from what I have learned throughout this assignment, I will encourage my future students to learn these skills. It was so much fun making this video and I can't wait to share my experience with my family, friends and future students.
