"My first visit to Maricar Beach resort was amazing! I was fortunate to meet the manager and developer of Mariecar Beach resort Chang. Who gave me a guided tour of the grounds and treated me as though I was an old friend. I was so impressed with how he captured the native style of construction in PI in his Bahay Kubo bungalows. Having developed several properties in Hawaii I can say Changs level of design and craftsmanship is very high. I enjoyed the beautiful setting along the beach and all of the thoughtful touches to the resort. However, what truly set Maricar part from other resorts I have visited was the unmatched hospitality of Chang and the staff there. To anyone thinking of visiting Samal Island a visit to Mariecar Beach resort is well worth it."

"Highly recommended this resort!! Went here to celebrate honeymoon with my husband and they offered the best service ever! Friendly and kind staff. Got fever on our 2nd night of stay but the staff went to the pharmacy just to buy us a medicine. Food?? Oh will never say no to their food! Its the best food ever and we even met the chef! The whole staff including the owner and the security guard are very welcoming. The place is very relaxing. Will never forget this experience and will definitely comeback to this resort!"
