I am Marie-José Bertin, an Emeritus Professor of Mathematics at Sorbonne University, working within the Institut de Mathématiques de Jussieu–Paris Rive Gauche (IMJ-PRG). My research lies in number theory, with a particular interest in topics at the intersection of analytic and algebraic number theory. My work focuses on the L-series of K3 surfaces, Mahler measures, Pisot and Salem numbers, and related areas that connect deep arithmetic properties with geometry and analysis.
