Maricopa Veteran Education Taskforce

MVET is a nonprofit organization located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

MVET Mission Statement:

The Maricopa Veterans Education Taskforce (MVET) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for, empowering, and supporting student veterans and the broader veteran community throughout Maricopa County. We work to bridge the gap between military and civilian life by connecting veterans with educational opportunities, community resources, and peer support. Through collaboration, outreach, and service, MVET is committed to building a stronger, more informed, and more resilient veteran community.

MVET proudly serves as a resource and advocate for all veterans, student veterans, and military-connected individuals in Maricopa County—on college campuses, in the workforce, and in the community.

Our Goals

To provide a support network for veteran employees, veterans students, and families of both in the Maricopa Community Colleges.
Develop communication channels that will expand, promote, and support cooperation and collaboration between veterans and other groups. Maintain communication
between veterans at all levels in the MCCCD regarding veteran's activities, issues, and opportunities.
To create awareness and provide support to assure a safe workplace by coordinating efforts across MCCCD to ensure the inclusion and integration of veteran and active military employees.

Membership

Membership is open to all employees, including part-timers and full-time retirees who are committed to achieving the objectives of MVET.

Dues will be $25 per member paid annually.
