I am currently an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Statistics at the Institute of Biosciences, Letters and Exact Sciences, São Paulo State University (UNESP), São José do Rio Preto-SP, Brazil.

Broadly, I am interested in computational and statistic methods for extracting information from data. In particular I am interested in the following major fields of research:

• Data Science

• Artificial Inteligence

• Statistics and Machine Learning 

• Computer Vision 

• Remote Sensing 

• Numerical Analysis
