Maria VandeVord

My name is Maria VandeVord and I am a biology major on the pre-med track. My ultimate career goals are to go to medical school and earn my doctorate in oncology. My internship with LHSI is a great opportunity to gain experience working with cancer cells this year, and I have also been involved in many other organizations on campus such as SAPB and a volunteering committee with the Alpha Lambda Delta honors society. From all of my experiences on campus, I hope to become a well-rounded individual and use my passion for learning to help others one day in the medical field.
