Pass out a Dinosaur figure to each students along with their own clay
Get a piece of clay and instruct the students to roll out the piece of clay into a ball and flatten it, in a flat surface
With the Dinosaur figures have the students select either the whole body or a footprint (to make an imprint) and have the students press down on the figures down on the flattened piece of clay that they have
Students wil then have successfully made their own imrpint fossil !
