I am a Chilean economist with research interests in international macroeconomics, monetary and fiscal policy, and economic growth. My research focuses on how structural shocks propagate across economies and on understanding the impact of economic decisions on social welfare.
I am currently a Research Consultant at the Inter-American Development Bank in the Productivity, Trade & Innovation sector, where I support the development of a cross-country productivity database. Previously, I was a Research Consultant in the IDB's Research Department, studying the macroeconomic and distributional consequences of AI adoption in Latin America.
My other research examines how energy transition shocks transmit through the macroeconomy using a DSGE model and how beliefs about poverty shape fiscal spending decisions across countries.
