I am a mathematician and Scientific Researcher III at the “Gheorghe Mihoc – Caius Iacob” Institute of Mathematical Statistics and Applied Mathematics of the Romanian Academy. My research interests include inverse problems, dynamical systems, statistical learning, mathematical modelling and optimization.
I obtained my PhD in Mathematics, from the University of Bucharest in 2024, under the supervision of Prof. Ionel Popescu. I am interested in what observations allow us to identify, how reliably we can recover it and how mathematical assumptions shape the conclusions we draw from data. I am particularly interested in applying these methods to real data.
