I am from Viikki-Latokartano area. I am a 60-year-old M.Sc. (Eng.), currently working as a teacher of mathematical subjects at Stadin Ammattiopisto. I am also driving a small business on the food hygiene branch. I am working parttime (my second job) as a teacher in the community colleges (Arbis and MBI). I have worked as a business advisor, entrepreneurship education expert, and consultant for SMEs in the food industry. I have teached also in primary schools, mainly on 7th-9th grade, ridingschools (horseback riding) and in squbadiving. Inspiration from horseriding led me to study agricultural sciences.

I have also worked as a hygiene passport- and asepsis-lecturer, an entrepreneurship expert and a drug dosage calcultation- trainer in the social and health care sector. While living in Karjaa and Pohja (now Raasepori), I was actively involved in voluntary work with people in mental health rehabilitation and drug users.

My hobbies include spending time in nature, mushroom picking, berry picking, and walking dogs.

I am a member of the Swedish-speaking branch of the SDP, Socialdemokratiskt Forum (SF), which is a part of the Finlands Svenska Socialdemokrater (FSD) district. 

I am serving:

• My first term as a representative of TFiF in TEK’s Education Policy Committee and Election Committee, as well as an alternate member of TEK’s Council. 

• I am a board member of the Helsinki Allergy and Asthma Association page 3 my presentation in Finnish 

• Chairman of the Executive Board of HUYK

• I am part of the board of the Pedagogical Organization for Mathematics Teachers (MAOL), and I also serve on the board of MAOL Helsinki Club and as the chair of the MAOL Committee of secondary vocational school teachers.

• I am a alternate member of the board of The Summer High School Association 

• FSD:s district council 2025-2026, personal substitute for Philip Dahlskog 

Previously

• I was a municipal councilor and held various positions of trust in the municipality of Pohja (now Raseborg), eg chairman of land use section

• I have been deputy member of the Swedish-language division of the City of Helsinki’s Education and Training Committee.
