With a background in fashion design, costume design, pattern making, and hands-on fabrication, Marianne brings an unusual combination of artistic vision and practical production knowledge. She is equally comfortable developing a visual concept, solving complex construction challenges, managing creative teams, coordinating production requirements, and working collaboratively to deliver a finished result.
Beyond film and television, Marianne has extensive experience in live entertainment and experiential production. Her credits include costume design and direction for the Los Angeles Ballet, wardrobe and personal dressing for Barry Manilow’s Las Vegas and international productions, theatre, opera, corporate entertainment, and A Very Diehard Christmas Musical. She was also Costume Designer and Associate Producer for the world-premiere full-scale operatic production of Alice in Wonderland, for which she received recognition for Best Costume Design.
As part of a creative production team, Marianne brings a distinctive ability to bridge creative vision and execution. She understands what it takes to move an idea from concept through design, fabrication, production, and presentation—while balancing artistic goals, technical requirements, schedules, budgets, and the realities of working with multidisciplinary teams.
Her work has been associated with productions recognized by the Emmys and Costume Designers Guild, and she remains actively involved in the professional costume and entertainment community through the Costume Designers Guild and industry organizations.
