On this show, I discussed with Gabrielle the neurological and physiological bases of affective touch, experimental studies on the role of affective touch in physical and social pain paradigms, and recent research on the effects on well-being during the lack of touch in the lockdowns of COVID-19.

2019 - TATE modern

Science and Art met at the TATE modern in London for the Moving Humans event exhibition.
We organised the "Heart Translator", a device that allows participants to feel the heartbeat of dancers as they perform. All throughout, we recorded the heartbeat of the participants to test whether they synchronized with the heart of the dancers.
