● Produces and edits weekly ‘news you can use’ social video content for Epicenter’s Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook pages, including videos on extreme heat, voting cheat sheets, and youth activism.
● Uses video AI daily to create and publish article-based videos for social media, collaborating with management to improve AI workflows, including videos on NYC gentrification, pool access, and public healthcare.
● Participates in community events across Queens, engaging with residents at senior centers, public libraries, and schools to provide information and support for COVID-19 and flu vaccination access.

● Wrote, pitched, and photographed stories on the NYC Latino migrant community, including stories on U.S. residents voting in Mexico's 2024 presidential election, and women's protests and social disparities in New York City and Latin America.
● Reported, produced, and edited social videos in Spanish including, a protest for a public hearing of a delivery worker’s death, a community archival radio project in Queens, and a Q&A with a visiting Mexican indigenous writer.
● Managed editorially weekly reporting assignments of 7 community reporters while coordinating in-person engagement events for our fanzine.

● Wrote English and Spanish news and feature stories on Mexican geopolitics and the local San Francisco Latino community. Reported stories included: an 8-year quest for justice for 43 disappeared Mexican students, a commentary on Mexican Independence day, and a BIPOC-led land restoration project.
