Mariana Esteves

I am a PhD candidate in Economics and Finance at the Nova School of Business and Economics. My research examines how public policy design shapes labour market inequalities across identity groups, with a focus on gender and migration status.

My work combines quantitative analysis and economic reasoning to generate data-driven insights applicable across a wide range of business and policy contexts.

I will defend my dissertation in 2026 and am seeking job opportunities starting in 2026.
