Painting, Acrillic and plastic wrap, 21x400 cm
Nothing says "we know nothing about each other" more than politicians, especially during their election campaigns.
Thus, molded faces of politicians who, at the time this work was developed, were campaigning in Portugal were created.
The painting, influenced by theatrical masks, portrays the "sad" and "happy" sides of these figures (exaggerating expressions to make them macabre) and highlights their transparency regarding the reality, or illusion, of politics.
