Maria Moiron
Group leader in the Department of Evolutionary Biology at Bielefeld University, Germany.
See "About me" for more details.
Reshma R
Postdoctoral fellow at Bielefeld University funded by a JICE ECR Fellowship (2025).
Reshma is interested in exploring the relationship between behavioral and life-history traits within the framework of "pace-of-life syndromes," using red flour beetles as study system.
Çağla Önsal
PhD Student at Bielefeld University (2025-2028)
In collaboration with Sandra Bouwhuis from the Institute of Avian Research in Wilhelmshaven, Çağla is working on eco-evolutionary dynamics and rapidly changing environments in common terns.
Hannah Reich
Master Student at Oldenburg University (2025)
Hannah is comparing quantitative genetic estimates from genetic and social pedigrees using data from the Banter see common terns, co-supervised with Sandra Bouwhuis from the Institute of Avian Research in Wilhelmshaven.
The group works on a broad range of topics and use a diverse set of methods. If you are interested in the type of research we do (see Research and Publications), please feel free to contact me by email. I'd be thrilled to hear from you and discuss potential projects and funding options!
