About me

Hi, I’m Maria – an experienced and passionate Maths tutor.

With over 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience, I specialise in helping students from Year 3 to Year 11 succeed in maths—no matter their starting point.

I hold a degree in Teaching and Mathematics from the University of Chichester, qualifying me to teach maths from Reception through to GCSE level.

I have extensive experience working with a wide range of learners, including students with SEND, and those who are gifted and seeking greater challenge, students experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety or school avoidance. I take a calm, supportive approach, creating a low-pressure environment where students can rebuild confidence and re-engage with learning.

My sessions are always tailored to suit individual needs—whether students are building core skills, pushing for top grades, or returning to maths as adults.
