My first internship was for the Design Lab at the University of Arizona in collaboration with UA Global, which is the department of study abroad and international student affairs. This was my first hands-on experience with UX Research. Although my team and I were not responsible for collecting information for a technological product, the primary goal was to find relevant feedback from U of A students on their experience and opinions of UA Global. This process took form in focus groups, individual interviews, digital surveys, and spreadsheets; the deliverable was a live presentation of our findings and suggested improvements to department officials and representatives.

My latest experience with UI design was as an intern for Super Purposes, which was a small, for-profit online business that labels itself as part of the "edutainment" industry (education + entertainment). Their mission was to educate their subscribed users on "how to get the job of their dreams", regardless of their background, history, and identity. My team and I were tasked to generally provide the Web Development and Content Creator teams on areas of improvement of the existing Super Purposes site, and thus we underwent the majority of the design process. Since this business is purely exists online, all affairs were conducted through video chat software for the entirety of my 200 hour internship. The final deliverable we presented was a mid-fidelity prototype of the newly-designed website via Adobe XD.
