Doctoral Student, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi
Hello! I am a 2nd-year PhD student from the College of Engineering & Computer Science, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC). I work as a graduate research assistant at the Collaborative Robots and Agents Lab (CORAL) under the supervision of Dr. José Baca. I am also a SAGE and NSF Crest Fellow and a member of the NSLS. My research interests include robotics, cybersecurity, and machine learning. My current research involves multi-robot systems during exploration and reconnaissance, and how to ensure their formations despite communication restraints and cyber attacks.
Before my PhD, I was a master's student at TAMUCC from 2021 to 2023. During my graduate studies, I was a part-time substitute teacher for Corpus Christi Independent School District (CCISD). I also earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Cybersecurity & Infrastructure at the same university (2017-2021).
My research interests lie mainly in robotics and machine learning. I have good hands-on C/C++, Python, Pytorch, and simulation environments (Gazebo), and virtual environments (Ubuntu).
