About me

I am a PhD student in Legal Studies, curriculum Business and Social Law at Bocconi University, Milan, Italy.

I graduated magna cum laude from Università degli Studi di Milano - Statale in May 2015, with a dissertation about the ne bis in idem principle, supervisor Prof. Francesco Viganò.

I am interested in criminal law, especially in white collar crime, organised crime and crimmigration.

My PhD project aims to investigate the impact of new technologies and financial markets developments on economic crime and in particular the impact of algorithmic strategies (other than HFT’s) and new technologies deployed by various market participants on criminal market abuse practices (advisor Prof. Francesco Mucciarelli, co-advisor Prof. Enrico Basile)

I am also involved - as instructor - in the  "Bocconi Legal Clinic" project in San Siro, Milan (led by Prof. Melissa Miedico), which includes a group of law students from Bocconi University and provides legal support in the fields of criminal law, migration law, family law, right to education and right to housing.

I am currently (as of March 2024) a visiting phd student at Hamburg University, Germany.
