The focus of the research is the application of stochastic models to describe anomalous transport phenomena in hydrological and environmental sciences. Anomalous diffusion models, such as Continuous Time Random Walks and Lévy walks, are employed to represent water movement in heterogeneous environments, including catchments and field soils. Using computational methods and simulations, these models are validated through comparison with observed data.
