We aim to raise awareness about climate change and to organize and to encourage everyone in our school community to start composting at school and in their homes. Primary school students will be pared with high school students to put together the project and promote composting.
The goal of this project is to raise concern and promote willingness for change not just with students but with the entire school community.
The future of the project is for once the compost gets going, the school can add the compost to the school flower beds. Also, as the worms reproduce and become excessive every student will have a chance to make their own small started compost to take home and begin a compost at their home!
This project will need support from both a grade 2 class and a grade 10 class
