About me
I am a third year PhD student at LIP6 (computer science laboratory of Sorbonne University) in Paris. I work in the team DECISION under the supervision of Professor Patrice Perny (LIP6, Sorbonne University) and Professor Nataliya Sokolovska (LCQB, Sorbonne University).
My PhD thesis is about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and more specifically, on how we can build bridges between Machine Learning and Decision Theory (e.g., multiattribute/criteria decision making, decision making under uncertainty). For example, I design algorithms to efficiently learn decision models from observing examples of decision-makers' preferences.
More generally, I am interested in how Machine Learning can benefit from other fields such as Decision Theory or Game Theory in terms of model interpretability and model normative guarantees. In the other way around, I am interested in Optimization for Machine learning and in particular, for learning knowledge-guided and constrained models.
